Savannah Guthrie, the anchor of NBC’s “Today” show, issued a fresh plea Sunday for information about her missing mother as the investigation entered its fifth month with no arrests.

In an Instagram story posted June 7, Guthrie shared a painting of Jesus Christ with text reading, “Oh my, my soul it cries out, soul, it cries out,” according to The Guardian. In a separate caption, she wrote “Bring her home” accompanied by a yellow heart emoji.

The social media post marked 127 days since the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, 84, who authorities believe was abducted from her home in the Tucson, Arizona, area on Feb. 1.

Investigators recovered drops of blood on Guthrie’s porch and DNA from a glove found two miles from her home, the Guardian reported. The glove initially appeared to resemble one worn by a suspect seen in surveillance footage from the night of the disappearance. However, investigators later discredited the evidence after determining the glove belonged to a restaurant worker, not the abductor.

The FBI, which has offered a $100,000 reward for conclusive information, is searching for a man approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall with an average build. No arrests have been made, the agency said. Guthrie’s family has separately offered a $1 million reward for any information leading to her safe return.

Guthrie has used her national platform to raise awareness since her mother’s disappearance. She returned to the “Today” show in April after a two-month absence, greeting fans outside NBC’s Studio 1A in New York’s Rockefeller Plaza.

In a tearful March interview with co-host Hoda Kotb, Guthrie described the emotional toll of the search.

“Someone needs to do the right thing. We are in agony,” Guthrie told Kotb. “We are in agony. It is unbearable. And to think of what she went through. I wake up every night in the middle of the night, every night.”

She added: “And in the darkness, I imagine her terror. And it is unthinkable, but those thoughts demand to be thought. And I will not hide my face. But she needs to come home now.”

Upon returning to the anchor desk in April, Guthrie told fans, “You guys have been so beautiful … I’ve received so many letters, so much kindness to me and my whole family. We feel it. We feel your prayers. So, thank you so much.”
