HBO’s Euphoria concluded its three-season run on Sunday, with the final episode wrapping storylines for principal cast members including Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer, and Jacob Elordi. Elordi’s character, Nate Jacobs, exited the narrative during the penultimate episode, anchoring the finale’s plot resolution. Series creator Sam Levinson confirmed to The New York Times that season three was structured as the show’s conclusion. With the HBO series finished, the ensemble has already been cast in a series of feature films scheduled for theatrical release over the next 18 months.

Zendaya headlines multiple upcoming studio productions. She portrays the goddess Athena in Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of The Odyssey, which stars Matt Damon as Odysseus alongside Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, and Charlize Theron. The Odyssey is scheduled to open in theaters July 17. Zendaya also returns as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the fourth installment in the franchise starring Holland, with a July 31 theatrical release. In December, she reprises her role as Chani in Dune: Part Three, directed by Denis Villeneuve and featuring Timothée Chalamet, Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Anya Taylor-Joy, Robert Pattinson, and Javier Bardem. Dune: Part Three is slated for a December 18 premiere.

Jacob Elordi moves into leading roles in genre film, starring as Hig, a pilot navigating a post-apocalyptic landscape in The Dog Stars. Directed by Ridley Scott and adapted from the Peter Heller novel, the film co-stars Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley, Allison Janney, Guy Pearce, and Benedict Wong. The Dog Stars opens August 28. Hunter Schafer appears in Cry to Heaven, a film directed by Tom Ford and adapted from an Anne Rice novel about 18th-century Italian opera. The cast includes Nicholas Hoult, Adele, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ciaran Hinds, George MacKay, Mark Strong, Colin Firth, Paul Bettany, Owen Cooper, and Thandiwe Newton. The film is expected for release in late 2026.

Sydney Sweeney returns as Millie Calloway in The Housemaid’s Secret, a sequel to Freida McFadden’s thriller. Michele Morrone is reprising his role and Kirsten Dunst joins the new cast. Directed by Paul Feig and written by Rebecca Sonnenshine, the project is scheduled for a December 17, 2027 theatrical opening.

Euphoria supporting cast members also transition to new projects. Colman Domingo, who played Ali Muhammad on the series, stars in the government-conspiracy sci-fi film Disclosure Day, directed by Steven Spielberg and also featuring Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, and Eve Hewson. That film opens June 12. Martha Kelly, who portrayed Laurie on the series, appears alongside director Maude Apatow in the comedy Poetic License. Maude Apatow’s directorial debut, the film also stars Leslie Mann, Andrew Barth Feldman, Cooper Hoffman, Nico Parker, Maisy Stella, Method Man, and Jake Bongiovi. Poetic License premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and is scheduled to open in theaters Oct. 16.
