Police said one person was killed and six others were injured in a shooting at a Chick-fil-A in Union, New Jersey, late Saturday, prompting an investigation by the county prosecutor’s office.
Union County Prosecutor’s Office officials said the attack occurred at about 9 p.m. Saturday. In a press release issued Sunday, police said they do not believe the attack was random.
Authorities said no arrests had been made as of Sunday. The prosecutor’s office said there was “no immediate ongoing threat to the general public,” adding that the injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
