Madonna drew attention as Dolce & Gabbana staged its Fall-Winter 2026-27 runway show during Milan Fashion Week, according to the Associated Press. The singer appeared in the show’s front row on Saturday, taking her seat as the runway session was about to start and then embracing fellow celebrity attendees there.

She was ushered to her place next to Vogue editor Anna Wintour, and other front row guests recorded the moment as Madonna hugged actor Alberto Guerra. The AP reported that Madonna and Guerra have recently worked together on a Dolce & Gabbana campaign.

Madonna, who is 67, has been connected to Dolce & Gabbana since the 1990s, the report said. It cited key moments including her wearing a bodice by the designers in 1991 for the New York preview of “Truth or Dare,” as well as costumes created for her “Erotica” tour in 1992 and the “Drowned World Tour” in 2001.

For the Milan Fashion Week appearance, the AP said Madonna wore her blond hair loose and dressed in a black blazer over a dark minidress. Turquoise leather gloves provided the only visible color, with Madonna sitting in the front row alongside Wintour while wearing dark sunglasses.

On the runway, Dolce and Gabbana’s collection for next fall and winter leaned on details reminiscent of Madonna’s earlier style, the AP reported. It described transparent lace dresses and skirts, big-shouldered pinstriped suits, big faux furs and animal prints, and it said models twirled in front of Madonna and Wintour to ensure the mirrored double-breasted suits—presented with lapels on both the front and the back—were clearly seen.

The report said that after the show, the designers walked down the runway to embrace Madonna and then whisked her backstage. Outside the venue, the AP reported that hundreds of fans gathered to catch Madonna and other celebrities who had packed the front row, including singers Hikaru Iwamoto of Japan, Choi San of South Korea and Achille Lauro of Italy.
